Art Deco Sterling silver cigar/cigarette box(sold)

An Antique George V Sterling silver cigar/cigarette box which has been designed in the Art Deco style with a rectangular shaped body with engine turned finish and stylish patterned borders. The solid silver hinged lid has the same engine turned decoration with stylish patterned borders and the box rests on four simple stepped feet. The wooden interior is still in excellent condition and the central division can be removed to accommodate larger cigars. This lovely silver box would make a useful addition to an Art Deco collection and would look interesting when displayed on the table. It stands at 5 cms (2″) in height and measures 16.5 cms (6.5″) in length.
