A Chester hallmarked Antique Edwardian Sterling silver vesta case which is rectangular in shape with attractive swirl and leaf decoration to the body, a tight fitting hinged lid and a good striking mechanism at the base. There is a ring attachment on the side so that it can be worn if so desired. This vesta case would make a useful addition to a collection. It weighs 1.1 troy ounces (34 grams).
