Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a plain silver mount with a decent pouring spout,  a hinged lid with a simple finial and an angular shaped handle which is comfortable to hold.  The cutting on the bulbous shaped glass body is particularly pretty and detailed and the claret jug rests on a flat star cut base.  It would hold a full bottle of wine comfortably and would be ideal to use.
