Chester Antique Victorian Sterling silver snuff box(sold)

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver snuff box, hallmarked in Chester, which is oval shape in design with a plain body, hinged lid with patterned decoration on the top and resting on a flat base. There is a push button mechanism at the front to open and close the lid and the interior has been nicely gilded. This silver snuff box would make a desirable addition to a collection and would make a perfect gift. It stands at 2.30 cms. in height, measures 6.70 cms. in length and weighs 1.60 troy ounces (49 grams).
