A wonderful Elizabeth II Sterling silver cutlery set which has been designed in the “Glams pattern” for twelve persons and consists of :

12 x table knives : 23.8 cms (9.4″) in length.

12 x table forks : 19.9 cms (7.8″) in length.

12 x dessert knives : 21.4 cms (8.4″) in length.

12 x dessert forks : 17.2 cms (6.8″) in length.

12 x dessert spoons : 17.3 cms (6.8″) in length.

12 x soup spoons : 17 cms (6.7″) in length.

12 x fish knives : 20.6 cms (8.1″) in length.

12 x fish forks : 18.8 cms (7.4″). in length.

6 x serving spoons : 20.4 cms (8″) in length.

11 x teaspoons : 12.3 cms (4.8″) in length.

11 x pastry forks : 13 cms (5.1″) in length.

10 x coffee spoons : 10.4 cms (4.1″) in length.

2 x sauce ladles : 14.5 cms (5.7″) in length.

2 x butter knives : 12.5 cms (4.9″) in length.

1 x carving knife : 36.5 cms (14.4″) in length.

1 x carving fork : 28 cms (11″) in length.

1 x sharpener : 34.1 cms (13.4″) in length.

 

The quality and condition of this set is excellent and it would be a pleasure to use and would look eye catching displayed on the table. It was made at the start of Queen Elizabeth’s reign in 1952 and is now 70 years old. There are 141 pieces in total and the weight of the entire set, excluding the stainless steel knives with silver handles and carving pieces, is 145.3 troy ounces (4520 grams). Attractive wraps have been hand made to help keep the pieces of cutlery clean and tidy. Two coffee spoons, one teaspoon and one pastry fork have been lost over the years.
