Heavy Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Salt Cellar-1838

A superb Antique Victorian Sterling silver salt cellar which is circular in shape with curved detailing, pretty shell and leaf borders and resting on three attractive legs with leaf decoration. This silver salt has been made to a very high standard and remains in excellent condition. The interior has been nicely gilded and it would be perfect to use on the table. The salt spoon, which is an excellent match, has been later added. The salt weighs 6.7 troy ounces (209 grams).
