Scottish Antique George III Sterling Silver Madeira Wine Label – 1818

A Scottish Antique George III Sterling silver “Madeira” wine label which has been elaborately designed with two naked figures, one holding a jug and bottle and the other a basket of flowers. There is a plain section in the front of the label engraved with Madeira and there is a Bacchus head motif at the base profusely decorated with grapes. This Scottish wine label would make an interesting addition to a collection. It weighs 19 grams and remains in excellent condition.
