Description

A Scottish Antique Victorian Sterling silver bowl which is circular in shape with a large deep body, two side handles and resting on a round pedestal foot. The body of the bowl has been highly decorated with horses, riders and chariots which makes this bowl rather unique in design. There is a pretty feature around the top rim depicting flowers, shells and swirls and the lower part of the body has fluted decoration. There is also some leaf detailing on the sweeping side handles which helps to complete the overall style of this wonderful bowl. It stands at 30.3 cms (12″) high to the top of the handle and the body measures 30.2 cms(11.9″) in diameter. The weight is 70 troy ounces (2172 grams).
