Scottish Antique Victorian Sterling silver fox menu/place card holders

A set of four Scottish Antique Victorian Sterling silver menu/place card holders which have been designed with a fox on the front of each menu holder with the motto of the Todd family underneath. The motto is “oportet vivere ” which roughly translated means “one must live.”  These impressive silver menu holders have a section at the rear to house the card and also a stand for support.  Tod is another meaning for fox and it is fitting that the Todd family have adopted a fox for their motto. These silver menu holders would make useful additions to a collection and would be perfect to use on the table.
